Valerie and Family - I am so sorry for your loss and have a special place in my heart for the memories. I will always remember Mike as being a tall drink of water, sitting in the back of the van, and blocking the view out the rear view window. When I needed to see, he would lean over to the wall, and Val would hold up a sign. ;>) We would share funny stories of our day, and we should have written a book. He's the reason I met Dave, my husband. When the van engine blew up, Mike said I had to take it to a specific auto shop because it was the only one his Dad trusted. The rest is history. Mike will be missed by us here, but I'm sure he is brightening his share of heaven. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Valerie,
My deepest condolences to you at the loss of Mike. I pray that your heart and soul find peace and comfort. I will always treasure commuting and working alongside Mike. I especially remember the bombing of the Marine barracks in Beirut in the early 80's. I could see from Mike's reaction his empathy for the Marines, and the sacrifices made by our military. And that's Mike "caring about others". His love of Country, Family, and God. Mike was gifted with quick wit and humor, and his sense of timeliness helped me through some difficult days. He often would comment "its time to get out of dodge" at the end of a long day or week. At other times he would have me in stitches as he would imitate an English bloke. Most of all he taught me how to be more light hearted and not to take myself so serious. Thanks Mike! I know your enjoying Merle Haggard alongside some Jim Beam. You have the best seat in the house now, hold some places for us. Miss you, Love you, Gunny RIP

Mikey, I was searching for you this morning on the internet only to find out you had passed away yesterday. I never gave up trying to get back in touch. I guess we'll just do that fishing trip we talked about on God's Golden Shores. Mikey, you were a true friend. I will always remember the great times and talks we had. I think about our paths in life and how you prayed every morning over that Lab. I rise this morning knowing you are dining with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I was hoping I would get in touch with you before this day came, but Mikey, know I'll always appreciate God putting you in my life. Rest in Peace my Friend, well second on that go enjoy Heaven. Go.walk them golden shores. See what God promised you. Missing you, and Playing you a tune Tim Tweed
